- Describe the focus of adoption-and child welfare-competent mental health services, including core skills, provider expectations, and practice standards.
- Explain the link between diligent recruitment and access to competent mental health supports, including how aligned services strengthen caregiver readiness, placement stability, and permanency.
- Find and use resources, tools, and technical help from the National Center for Adoption Competent Mental Health Services to support caregiver readiness, improve service access, and boost agency recruitment and retention strategies.
