Jeannie Bennett is a seasoned leader with nearly 25 years of child welfare systems improvement and practice. With a strong background in strategic planning, team development, and community partner engagement, Jeannie specializes in supporting states, tribes, and territories in implementing effective, data-informed recruitment and retention strategies for foster families.

She brings a thoughtful, solutions-oriented approach to technical assistance, consistently applying critical thinking and sound judgment to complex challenges. Jeannie is known for her ability to foster collaboration across diverse teams, maintain high standards of quality, and adapt quickly to shifting priorities—all while keeping the needs of children and families at the center of her work.

Jeannie holds a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Washington Seattle and a Bachelor of Art degree in community service from Saint Martin University.
