The diligent recruitment peer group provides opportunities to connect with professionals like you in other child welfare systems who are responsible for diligent recruitment planning and implementation.

We strive to promote collaboration among child welfare systems’ staff who engage in diligent recruitment work. Our goal is to support you in improving diligent recruitment practice and achieving positive outcomes for children and youth in foster care.

Who can join?

Members of this group include program managers and child welfare staff responsible for recruiting, retaining, developing, and supporting foster, adoptive, and kinship families who are caring for children and youth. Each member must be approved by the Children’s Bureau.
