Bora Sunseri is a licensed clinical social worker with 33 years of service to the State of Louisiana. She held a range of front-line, field, and administrative roles with the Department of Children and Families. Her experience spans child welfare programs, child support, training, and technology modernization initiatives.
She also served as a clinical social worker with the Department of Corrections, the U.S. Air Force, and in private practice.
Her expertise in child welfare diligent recruitment data management includes child and family service reviews, continuous quality improvement, program improvement planning, and managing adoption program field staff. She has also led efforts related to the recruitment, training, certification, and retention of foster and adoptive parents.
Bora holds a certification in adoption and foster care specialization from Hunter College and is a proud alumna of American University and Louisiana State University.
